Alamo Candy Company

I always have so much fun when I take my daughter here. They have alot of the old kind of candy from when I was a kid and I can get it for my daughter. Kind of a full circle moment being able to share some of my childhood favorites with her.

So much fun stuff! A great place to buy candy in bulk but also a great place to just pick up lots of new candy to try. And they have Mexican vanilla! And piñatas.

We had a great time at this candy store, but ended up very disappointed because we found hair in two different pieces of candy that we bought. We ended up having to throw it away.

Don't bother calling to ask for prices because they will lie and sell you a different higher price in store. I called before showing up and they sold me the 1 gallon mangonada for $17.99 instead of the price over the phone of $14.99. when I asked about the price in store they said it must've been somewhere else and denied receiving the call. Then I called them and their phone rang and I asked them why are they liars? The phone rang I called you guys earlier I just proved it. Then I left because they obviously weren't going to do the right thing and give me the correct price. This place is shady! Terrible first time and it is so hard to move around in the store and unorganized getting to the register.

I haven't been here for sometime, before they moved from Blanco to here. Definitely better parking then before and larger floor plan. Not just a Mexican and Tex Mex candy shop, it is little bir more than that. It goes without saying, if you have a small shop or have parties, this is a money saver. They have the best, the best Chile lemon seasoning ever, punches above Tajin.
